Hey friends,
PS: This is my last email newsletter for 2024. What a year, right? I graduated from high school at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, started my journey into the world of email newsletters, blogs, research, and music, and connected with over 3000 of you—like-minded souls eager for knowledge. It's been a full, rewarding year for me, from publishing 3 research papers to releasing 4 original songs. How was your year? I’m all ears.
Now, as the New Year approaches, it's natural to think about resolutions and reflect on our achievements and the goals we maybe didn’t quite meet. But what if we’re all wrong about resolutions? Last year taught me a valuable lesson.
Instead of beating ourselves up over missed targets, let’s focus on what we did accomplish. Maybe you didn't reach 1,000 subscribers on your social channels, but think about the hard work you put in—every piece of content you published, every night you spent researching. We often fall into the trap of negative thinking. Let’s try to be more optimistic; you’re doing better than you think.
Personally, I’ve learned a lot from my missteps this year. I went from zero to becoming a registered musical artist, a productivity strategist, and a cited independent researcher. Each failure has been a stepping stone to becoming who I am today.
Most of us struggle with our resolutions.
You might already be thinking, “I’ll achieve so much this year.” But remember the last time you said that and ended up feeling overwhelmed? Let’s switch it up with something I call ‘Quarterly Resolutions.’ It’s not rocket science—just set goals for 90 days instead of a whole year.
We’ll also do weekly reviews instead of daily to-dos, and try time blocking instead of endless lists. If you're not familiar with time blocking yet, you can learn more about it here [Click Me For Time Blocking]. It's a handy technique that can really navigate you towards your goals.
And remember, I'm just an email away. Feel free to share your thoughts or resolutions by replying to this message. I'm here to help you out whenever you need it.
Have a fantastic week and a Happy New Year in advance!
